Radiesse® dermal filler is made up of calcium-based microspheres suspended in a water-based gel, and it is injected into the skin through a simple and minimal procedure.The process uses a fine needle to introduce small amounts of the gel just under the surface of the skin.

Each treatment involves tiny injections where the product is placed into the skin. The treatment increases the skin's thickness and stimulates natural collagen production. The results of the treatment can last for up to six months. Some find the results to last much longer, even up to eighteen months.

Unlike similar filler treatments, your skin will become stimulated to produce collagen and the signs of aging will be reversed. There may be the need for maintenance treatments after the desired results are achieved.

BOTOX® is a nonsurgical treatment that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crows feet near the eyes. It can be used on people ages 18-65. During treatment, very low doses of BOTOX® Cosmetic are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles that cause those stubborn lines.

The BOTOX® treatment usually lasts about ten minutes. There is no recovery time needed after the treatment. You can resume normal activities. The BOTOX® works by blocking the transmission of nerve impulses to the injected muscles; this reduces the activity of the muscles that cause those persistent lines to form.

Results from the BOTOX® treatment can be seen in as little as a few days. The treatment will last up to three to four months. When you stop having the BOTOX® treatments done the lines will gradually reappear like they were before treatment.

Another way of preventing aging of the skin is to use moisturizer daily. Your skin needs moisture. Use a moisturizer before going outdoors when it is cold. The best time to moisturize is right after you get out of the bath or shower. Consider using a moisturize with SPF built in. This will take care of both needs in one step.
