Are you Eating a Healthy Skin Diet

Everything we put into our body affects the way our skin looks. If you eat a diet filled with sugar and processed foods your skin is going to pay the price along with your overall health. If you eat a healthy skin diet you will see the results with your glowing skin.

Some things to avoid if you want your skin to be at its healthiest are fried foods, high fat foods, high sodium foods, processed foods, greasy foods, bad carbs, and consuming too much alcohol. These are all terribly bad for your skin.

A healthy skin diet should consist of fresh vegetables and fruits, lean proteins such as chicken, healthy fats and oils, cold water ocean fish, nuts, limited amounts of whole grain foods, and plenty of water. You need to drink at least eight 8oz glasses of water a day. The more you can drink the better your skin will be.

Also, the more foods you can buy that are organic the better. Harmful chemicals and pesticides are not going to benefit your skin or health. By eating a healthy skin diet and taking care of your skin with a daily skin care routine you will have gorgeous glowing skin.

  1. Diet does play a big part in the way your skin looks. I was amazed at how mine improved after changing my eating habits to a more healthier lifestyle.
